THE SPRING 2010 TRAVEL SOCCER SEASON
HAS JUST ABOUT ENDED
Message from MYSO President John Livingston:
As another season draws to a close, I want to thank all involved. We had a very successful season
and I was very happy to see the new Heritage Park back fields being used.
As a whole, Mashpee's 11 teams had a 42-35-11 record, with 4 teams qualifying for playoffs!
We saw some real growth from the younger teams, and even though the record wasn't great, hats off
to Paul Kelleher for putting together Mashpee's first ever U-8 team!
I think we can expect great things over the next few years!
Another first?? Kathy Cote being the first woman (that I can think of) who painted field lines
on a weekly basis!! Yeah, Kathy! MYSO and my new hip thank you!
NOTEWORTHY RESULTS
U-11B (Perrone) Lost a tiebreaker game on MV
U-12G (McGovern) A surprise home loss in playoffs! Next year is the year!
U-13G (Barger) Playing tomorrow at 2:30 at Mariner for D2 Championship!
U-18G (me and McDonough!) Beat Westport in quarterfinals, playing semi-final tonight vs Bourne
at Bourne Middle School @ 6:00. Winner gets a birth at MTOC!
Again, thank you to everyone for a great season and good luck to the U-13 and U-18 girls!

Registrations postmarked/received between 7/1/10 and 7/15/10
will be charged a $30 late fee; registrations will be returned after 7/15/10.
The reason for the strict (and early) deadlines is that the paperwork involved in
setting up teams, recruiting coaches, scheduling practices and games,
and submitting all the above to the MA Youth Soccer League takes a lot of time.
